Meeting of Greece-Korea Parliamentary Friendship Group with new Ambassador of Republic of Korea

The first customary meeting with the new Ambassador of the Republic of Korea in Athens, Mr Juseong Lim, was held today at the Hellenic Parliament by the Chair of the Friendship Group Mr George Stamatis and the Deputy Chair Mr Stavros Michailidis.

The discussion focused on both the historical and economic ties that bind the two countries. The two sides stressed the importance of Greece's military assistance in the Korean War in 1950 and the influence of our country in the establishment of democracy in Korea.
