1st Vice-President of Hellenic Parliament in Nicosia on occasion of 20th anniversary of Cyprus's accession to EU

"Our highest national priority was and still remains the end of the Turkish occupation and the finding of a just, viable and functional solution to the Cyprus issue, in the framework of the relevant UN Security Council resolutions and the European acquis...".

This was stressed in his speech today by the 1st Vice President of the Hellenic Parliament Mr Ioannis Plakiotakis - representing the President of the Hellenic Parliament Mr Constantine Tassoulas - at a special event held in Nicosia, on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the accession of Cyprus to the European Union.
