Topics related to the management of high interest issues and support for Greece's candidacy for the position of non-permanent member of the UN Security Council were discussed during a meeting between the Chair Mr Ioannis Tragakis, the Vice-Chair Mr Dimitris Markopoulos and the members of the Greece-China Parliamentary Friendship Group Mr Paraskevas Koukoulopoulos, Mr Nikolaos Karathanasopoulos and Mr Adamantios Karanastasis, as guests of the Ambassador of China to Athens Mr Xiao Junzheng.

From his part, Mr Tragakis as head of one of the largest Friendship Groups of the Hellenic Parliament noted that the numerous exchanges conducted over the years remain at a high level, while an invitation for an official visit in the next period is being considered.
