Visit of World Hellenic Inter-parliamentary Association (WHIA) to Hellenic Parliament

 

The Governing Board of the World Hellenic Inter-parliamentary Association (WHIA) visited the Hellenic Parliament on Wednesday, July 24, as part of its regular visit to Athens, under its President, US State Senator Leonidas Raptakis.

The delegation met with the 2nd Vice-President of the Parliament Mr Georgios Georgantas and the Secretary General of the Parliament Mr Vasileios Bagiokos and participated in the meeting of the Special Permanent Committee on Greeks Abroad, while it had the opportunity to attend the special meeting of the Plenary Session for the 50th anniversary of the Restoration of Democracy.
