Austrian MPs meet with Minister of Migration and Asylum and Secretary General for Tourism Policy and Development

Meetings with the Minister of Migration & Asylum Mr Dimitris Kairidis and the Secretary General for Tourism Policy and Development Mr Myron Flouris, held a delegation of Austrian MPs during their second and last day of their visit to Athens, following an invitation by the Hellenic Parliament.

At the Ministry of Migration & Asylum Mr Kairidis informed the Austrian parliamentarians about a series of initiatives in the framework of the European migration policy, in which Greece is playing a leading role in order to maintain the balance between solidarity policies and responsibility sharing. Among the coordinated actions that have been developed, priority was given to the results of the inter-ministerial meeting of the MEDS countries (Greece, Italy, Spain, Cyprus, Cyprus, Malta, 19-20/4/2024), as well as the recent meeting with the European Commissioner for Neighbourhood and Enlargement (10/4/2014).
