Online meeting of Hellenic Parliament's Economic Affairs Committee Chairman with Albanian counterpart

The Chairman of the Standing Committee on Economic Affairs of the Hellenic Parliament Stavros Kalogiannis met for the first time with the Chairman of the relevant committee of the Albanian Parliament Eduard Shalsi. The meeting was held online.

During their discussion, the two Chairmen expressed their wish to hold more regular meetings and exchanged views and information on issues of current affairs.

In particular, they discussed addressing the economic challenges posed by the pandemic and more recently, the war in Ukraine. They agreed to exchange visits in order to expand cooperation between the two countries in areas such as energy, trade, cross-border transport, tourism and the environment.
