Greece-Israel Parliamentary Friendship Group meets with outgoing Ambassador of Israel to Athens Yossi Amrani

The Hellenic Parliament Greece-Israel Friendship Group met today with the outgoing Ambassador of Israel Yossi Amrani. The meeting was attended by the Greece-Israel Parliamentary Friendship Group Chairman Dimitrios Kairidis, the Deputy Chair Olga Kefalogianni and the Secretary Olympia Teligioridou.

The Committee Bureau praised the two countries’ outstanding cooperation at the bilateral level, especially referring to the Ambassador’s important contribution throughout his term in Greece. During the meeting, reference was made to the recent visit of a Greek delegation to the Knesset, as well as to the invitation for an Israeli delegation to visit our country.

Mr Amrani expressed his thanks over the excellent cooperation, while expressing his admiration for the country’s rich natural assets and promising prospects.

Closing, theGreece-Israel Parliamentary Friendship Group members thanked the Ambassador for his dedicated efforts and contribution to the strengthening of diplomatic relations, noting that he will always be welcome and a good friend of our country.
