Chair of Committee on National Defence and Foreign Affairs meets with Ambassador of Belgium to Athens

The Chair of the Standing Committee on National Defence and Foreign Affairs of the Hellenic Parliament, Dora Bakoyannis, met today with the Ambassador of Belgium to Athens, Marc Calcoen.

During the courtesy meeting, the two sides confirmed the excellent level of political and friendly relations between the two countries. Mrs Bakoyannis said that there is ample room to extend cooperation to many areas and to strengthen parliamentary relations.

Mr Calcoen briefed the Committee Chair on actions planned by the Embassy of Belgium in Greece on the occasion of the Belgian Presidency of the Council of the EU.
