Inter-Parliamentary Assembly on Orthodoxy and Muslim World League sign MoU

The message that the need for dialogue and mutual cooperation between secular bodies representing different religious worlds is more necessary than ever in order to address global challenges, was conveyed during the meeting with the Deputy Secretary General of the Muslim World League, Mr Alshri Abdulwahab Mohammed A', by the 1st Vice President of the Parliament, Mr Ioannis Plakiotakis.

Characteristically, Mr Plakiotakis noted: "We must not forget that slowly but surely both the religious and the political world is promoting the concept of dialogue. Particularly in a period of intense conflicts, international cooperation is more necessary than ever in order to address global challenges.”
