C. Tassoulas: "The pain caused by the memory of the sufferings became awakening and in this rising, Greece, the Hellenic Parliament as a unified body remains by the side of Cyprus."

The President of the Hellenic Parliament, Mr Constantine Tassoulas, inaugurating today, at the former Public Tobacco Factory, along with the Speaker of the House of Representatives of Cyprus, Mrs Annita Demetriou, the exhibition "Cyprus, 1974. Remembrance is the only homeland of the people", stressed that "we remember the tragedy with perseverance and hope, but we also honour the eminence of a country that, despite the tragedy, faced its problems".
