Participation of delegation of Hellenic Parliament in Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week
Within the framework of the Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week (ADSW) 2026, one of the most important international platforms for sustainable development and cooperation, the Hellenic Parliament participated actively with a delegation from the Greece–United Arab Emirates Parliamentary Friendship Group, strengthening Greece’s role in the global dialogue on addressing the environmental and social challenges of the 21st century.
The Greek delegation—comprising the Chair of the United Arab Emirates–Greece Parliamentary Friendship Group, Mr Michail Papadopoulos; the Secretary, Ms Konstantina Karampatsoli; and the member, Ms Aikaterini Monogyios—represented the Hellenic Parliament in the proceedings of the Conference. They took part in discussions with officials from the international political arena as well as representatives of public and private sector bodies from the participating countries. On the sidelines of the event, the Greek Members of Parliament also met with the Greek Ambassador, Mr. Stylianos Gavriil.
