Greece-Azerbaijan Parliamentary Friendship Group meets with Deputy Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan

The Chairperson of the Greece-Azerbaijan Parliamentary Friendship Group Mr Simos Kedikoglou, emphasised the importance of promoting the three pillars of action - Human Rights - Rule of Law - Democracy - in the context of the country's relations with the European Union during today's meeting of the Bureau of the Parliamentary Friendship Group with the Deputy Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan Mr Fariz Rzaev, head of the Azerbaijani delegation.

Mr Kedikoglou stated that the main areas of our bilateral relations are trade and economic cooperation, which allow for a mutual approach by the two countries, as there is a renewed interest in the developments in the South Caucasus region.
