Inter-parliamentary Meeting of European Parliament's Committee on Foreign Affairs (AFET)

Greece's longstanding support for the European perspective of the Western Balkans and the importance of maintaining a credible and rules-based EU enlargement process were highlighted through the interventions of the representatives of the Hellenic Parliament at the Interparliamentary Meeting of the European Parliament's Committee on Foreign Affairs (AFET), which took place today in Brussels.The topic of the meeting was the enlargement of the European Union and the role of parliaments in promoting the accession process. The Hellenic Parliament was represented by Members of Parliament Mr Ioannis Kefalogiannis and Mr Dimitrios Mantzos.
