Opening of Exhibition “50 Years of Greece-Ireland Diplomatic Relations”

The President of the Hellenic Parliament, Mr Nikitas Kaklamanis, inaugurated today at the Parliament’s Colonnade the exhibition marking “50 Years of Diplomatic Relations between Greece and Ireland”, in the presence of the Ambassador of Ireland to Greece, Ms Ciara O’Floinn.

Originally presented last July at the Byzantine and Christian Museum of Athens, the exhibition features photographic and historical material illustrating the longstanding bilateral relations between the two countries.

The exhibition will remain on display at the Colonnade of the Hellenic Parliament for a fortnight, symbolically marking five decades of friendship, cooperation and mutual respect between the two peoples.
