Greece assumes Presidency of Parliamentary Assembly of Black Sea Economic Cooperation (PABSEC)

Greece officially assumed the Presidency of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation (PABSEC) on 1 July 2026 for the forthcoming six-month term, following the conclusion of the 67th Plenary Session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Organization of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation (PABSEC), held in Gori, Georgia.

The handover ceremony was conducted in accordance with the established protocol, with the Presidency being formally transferred by the Speaker of the Parliament of Georgia, Mr Shalva Papuashvili, to the Head of the Greek Delegation and Vice-President of the Parliamentary Assembly, Ms Sophia Voultepsi.
