President of Parliament meets with President of Republic of Armenia

The excellent level of relations between Greece and Armenia and the sincere bonds that unite the two countries from the depths of history were highlighted by the President of the Hellenic Parliament, Mr Nikitas Kaklamanis, during today’s meeting with the President of the Republic of Armenia, Mr Vahagn Khachaturyan.

“Today the Hellenic Parliament welcomes the President of Armenia, a country with which Greece has long-standing historical, religious, cultural and political ties. We welcome him with emotion and great pleasure and reaffirm both the full support of the Greek Government—with which he has already held meetings and will continue to do so—as well as the support of the Hellenic Parliament for the Parliament of his country,” Mr N. Kaklamanis said while welcoming Mr Vahagn Khachaturyan to the Hellenic Parliament. The Armenian President is paying an official visit to our country.
