First Vice-President of Hellenic Parliament visits London for 85th anniversary of Battle of Crete

The Hellenic Parliament was represented by the First Vice-President Mr Ioannis Plakiotakis at a highly symbolic event marking 85 years since the Battle of Crete, co-organised by the House of Commons and the Embassy of Greece in London.

The event was attended by the Speaker of the House of Commons Sir Lindsay Hoyle, members of the British Parliament, government representatives, and the Ambassador of Greece to the United Kingdom Mr Ioannis Tsaousis.
