Chair of Greece-India Parliamentary Friendship Group meets with Ambassador of Republic of India

The Ambassador of the Republic of India, Mr Rudrendra Tandon, was received today at the Hellenic Parliament by the Chair of the Greece–India Parliamentary Friendship Group, Ms Maria Antoniou.

During the meeting, Ms Antoniou expressed her satisfaction with the high level of bilateral relations and cooperation in areas of mutual interest, as these have developed in recent years through exchanges of high-level visits and are reflected in the signing of Memoranda and Cooperation Agreements. She also referred to the mutual support between Greece and India in international organizations and fora, underlining the importance of Greece’s contribution, within the framework of the European Union, to the further convergence of EU–India relations.
