Videoconference of EU Parliamentary Committees for Union Affairs (COSAC)

Within the framework of the parliamentary dimension of the Cypriot Presidency of the Council of the European Union, the Conference of Parliamentary Committees for Union Affairs of Parliaments of the EU (COSAC) was held today, Monday, 16 March 2026, via videoconference.

The keynote speaker for the session “The EU and the crisis in the Middle East” was Mr Dimitris Kairidis, Deputy Chair of the Standing Committee on National Defence and Foreign Affairs of the Hellenic Parliament and Professor of International Relations at Panteion University. The videoconference was also attended by Mr Dimitris Kouvelas, Mr Christos Stylianidis, Mr Dimitris Mantzos, and Ms Rena Dourou, representing the Hellenic Parliament.
