Proceedings of Committee on Justice, Home Affairs and Security of South-East European Cooperation Process Parliamentary Assembly

In the framework of the Greek Presidency of the Committee on Justice, Home Affairs and Security of the South-East European Cooperation Process Parliamentary Assembly (SEECP PA), the Committee’s proceedings took place today, 30 March, in the Senate Hall of the Hellenic Parliament. The session was chaired by Mr Eustathios Konstantinidis, Deputy Head of the Hellenic Parliament’s delegation to the Assembly.
The central topic of discussion was “Institutional safeguarding and the strengthening of democratic processes for the effective addressing of the brain drain phenomenon and the demographic challenge in Southeastern Europe.” Members of the parliamentary delegations of the Assembly took part in the session, as well as members of the Greek delegation, Ms Maria-Alexandra Kefala, Mr Xenophon Baraliakos, and Mr Vasileios Kokkalıs. The keynote speaker was the Deputy Minister of Labour and Social Security, Mr Konstantinos Karagkounis.
