Greece-United Arab Emirates Friendship Group meets with UAE Ambassador to Athens

The Chair of the Greece-United Arab Emirates Friendship Group Mr Mihalis Papadopoulos, during his meeting with the Ambassador of the UAE Mr Ali Obaid Ali Aldhaeri referred to the Joint Declaration of the Greece-UAE Broad Strategic Partnership and the Cooperation Agreement on Foreign Policy and Defence, signed in November 2020, during the Greek Prime Minister's visit to Abu Dhabi.

Mr Papadopoulos described the agreement as a "milestone for high-level bilateral relations" and referred to the existing economic cooperation as well as to the prospect of further development of various schemes as a result of the frequent intergovernmental contacts between officials of the two countries in recent years.
