Online meeting of Bureau of Greece-Slovenia Parliamentary Friendship Group with delegation of corresponding Friendship Group of Slovenian Parliament

An online meeting with a delegation of the Slovenia-Greece Parliamentary Friendship Group had at the Hellenic Parliament today the Chair of the Friendship Group Kostas Skrekas.

During the discussion, emphasis was placed on addressing climate change, the consequences of which are exacerbating the devastating effects of fires and floods. On this issue, Mr Skrekas expressed the view that the aim should be to minimise the factors that cause climate change with the objective to shield energy security, as well as security of supply, within the framework of creating competitive energy prices, with the additional goal of reducing carbon dioxide emissions.
