Chair of National Defence and Foreign Affairs Committee meets with Qatar's Minister of State

The upgrading of cooperation in the fields of energy, defense, trade, and investment was at the centre of today’s meeting between the Chair of the Standing Committee on National Defence and Foreign Affairs, Ms Dora Bakoyannis, and the Minister of State of the State of Qatar, Dr Mohammed bin Abdulaziz Al-Khulaifi, who is in Athens as part of the Emir of Qatar’s visit to Greece.

During the discussion, Ms Bakoyannis highlighted the importance of bilateral cooperation, particularly amid the current crisis in the wider region, which makes the resilience of partners and the pursuit of security and prosperity in an interconnected world a key priority.
