Condolences from President of Hellenic Parliament to Speaker of Lower House of Republic of India for deadly air tragedy – N. Kaklamanis: "We stand by the people of India"

The President of the Hellenic Parliament, Mr. Nikitas Kaklamanis, today expressed his sincere condolences and feelings of solidarity, both personally and on behalf of the Hellenic Parliament, for the deadly air tragedy following the crash of the airplane in the city of Ahmedabad, in a letter addressed to the Speaker of the Lok Sabha of India, Mr. Om Birla.

As Mr. N. Kaklamanis notes, “we stand by the people of India, who were shocked by this unspeakable tragedy”, while also expressing "the solidarity and support of the Greek people" and the wish “that we never again experience similar tragic events in the future”.
