Parliamentary delegation to Buenos Aires and participation in 2nd Clergy-Laity Assembly of Greek Diaspora in South America

Greek MPs met with representatives of the local Parliament of the city of Buenos Aires and the Federal Lower House of Argentina during their visit to the capital of Argentina, from 14 to 19 November 2024, on the occasion of the 2nd Clergy-Laity Assembly of the Greek Diaspora and institutions of the region.

The parliamentary delegation consisted of the Chairpersons of the Parliamentary Friendship Groups of the Hellenic Parliament of Brazil, Uruguay and Chile, Theodoros Karaoglou, Maria Alexandra Kefala and Christos Boukoros respectively, as well as the Secretary of the Greece-Argentina Parliamentary Friendship Group Ioannis Tsimaris and the Alternate Secretary General of the Inter-Parliamentary Assembly on Orthodoxy (IAO) Ioannis Sarakiotis.
