Official visit by Austria-Greece Parliamentary Friendship Group at Hellenic Parliament

The Austrian Parliamentary Friendship Group met with a cross-party delegation of the Standing Committee on National Defence and Foreign Affairs, concluding its official visit to Athens.

During the discussion, the Deputy Chair of the Committee on National Defence and Foreign Affairs Mr Stefanos Gikas, highlighted the concern caused by the situation in Ukraine and the Middle East, which underlines the need for unity and coherence in Europe's response, but also the impact that the possible spillover of the conflicts into the wider region may have on the migration issue.
