First official meeting of Bureau of Greece-UK Parliamentary Friendship Group with UK Ambassador to Greece

The Bureau of the Greece-UK Parliamentary Friendship Group held an official meeting with the Ambassador of the United Kingdom to Greece Matthew Lodge. The meeting was attended by the chairperson of the Friendship Group Domna Michailidou, the Vice- Chairperson Dimitris Mantzos and the Secretary Alexandros Kazamias.

At the meeting, Ambassador Lodge referred to the upcoming bilateral contacts between the political leadership of the two countries and the upcoming Greek-British Symposium at the University of Cambridge. Mrs Michailidou spoke about her meeting with Alberto Costa, chairperson of the corresponding Friendship Group of the British Parliament and the planned visit of the Greek Friendship Group to the UK, with the aim of strengthening bilateral parliamentary relations.
