Chairman of National Defence and Foreign Affairs Committee Parliamentary Committee meets with Ambassador of Armenia in Athens

The Chairman of the Standing Committee on National Defence and Foreign Affairs of the Hellenic Parliament Konstantinos Gioulekas met today with the Ambassador of Armenia in Greece Tigran Mkrtchyan.

The discussion took place in the context of looking back at the long-standing historical ties, the common memory and the experiences of our long-suffering peoples. The two sides discussed issues of bilateral cooperation, as well as recent developments in the region. Lastly, they confirmed the excellent relations between the two countries and expressed thier belief that they will continue and be strengthened.
