Portugal-Greece Parliamentary Friendship Group meets with Ambassador of Portugal to Athens

The excellent degree of bilateral cooperation was praised during today's meeting between members of the Greece-Portugal Friendship Group and the Ambassador of Portugal to Athens Mrs Helena Paiva.  Among others, it was mentioned that the political relations between the two countries are largely determined by their participation in the EU and NATO, while the participation of Portuguese surveillance teams on the East Aegean islands (Samos and Lesbos) in FRONTEX operations in our country, is highly appreciated.
