Greece-Sweden Parliamentary Friendship Group meets with Ambassador of Sweden to Athens

During their meeting with the Ambassador of Sweden in Greece, Mr Johan Borgstam, the members of the Greece-Sweden Parliamentary Friendship Group had the opportunity to corroborate Greece and Sweden’s shared interest in strengthening bilateral cooperation, especially in the fields of twelve-month alternative tourism season, the promotion of investments, and cooperation in the environmental sector.

The Swedish Ambassador expressed his interest in pursuing coordinated action, to bring in touch members of the Greece-Sweden Parliamentary Friendship Group with the Hellenic-Swedish Chamber of Commerce in Athens with the aim of developing efficient cooperation.

Both sides expressed the intention for further partnerships aimed at the strongest possible cooperation within the framework of international and other European organisations, such as NATO, the United Nations and the European Union.

Mr Stavros Papasotiriou, Chair of the Friendship Group,  Mr Theofanis Papas, Deputy Chair and Mr Georgios Kotsos, member,  participated in the meeting.
