EU’s major challenges at the heart of 74th Conference of Parliamentary Committees for European Affairs

The 74th Plenary Conference of the EU Member States’ Parliamentary Committees for Union Affairs concluded today in Copenhagen, following its three-day session from Sunday 30 November to Tuesday 2 December 2025. The Conference was organised under the Danish Presidency, and the Hellenic Parliament was represented by the members of the Committee on European Affairs: Mr Notis Mitarakis, as head of the delegation, the Committee’s secretary Ms Rena Dourou, and members Mr Simos Kedikoglou and Mr Dimitris Mantzos.

The Conference adopted a contribution to the EU institutions that incorporated all the Greek amendments, including a reference to the need for a joint response to security challenges at the EU’s external borders, regardless of where they originate from.
