The Directorate for Scientific Supervision consists of the following departments:
Α) Department for Scientific Documentation & Supervision

The Department keeps records of the scientific activities of the Directorates for Studies, for IT & New Technologies, for the Library, for Benakis Library and for Political Heritage Collections.
Β) Department for Parliamentary History
Head: Dr Charalambis Kyrkos, Scientific Associate to the Scientific Council

The Department, by virtue of the Speaker’s decision, or acting on the orders of the President of the Scientific Council, conducts surveys and drafts studies on Greek parliamentary and Constitutional history and practice and may also proceed with comparative studies on parliamentary and Constitutional issues.
