14th Meeting of the Joint Parliamentary Scrutiny Group (JPSG) on Europol, Ghent, 18 - 20 February 2024

On 18 and 19 February 2024, took place in Ghent the 14th meeting of the Joint Parliamentary Scrutiny Group (JPSG) on Europol, in the framework of the Belgian Presidency of the Council of the European Union and on the basis of periodical control and supervision of the activities of the Agency by the members of the national parliaments of the Member States and the European Parliament.

The meeting was attended by a delegation of the Hellenic Parliament consisting of the Chairman of the Standing Committee on Public Administration, Public Order and Justice, Lazaros Tsavdaridis and its members Anna Karamanli, Konstantinos Barkas and Nadia Giannakopoulou.

Topics of discussion were, among others, Europol's activities between October 2022 and February 2023, illegal arms trafficking and the fight against human trafficking.
